Former President Barack Obama, The 44^th US. President, Each Year Obama releases his Top TV Shows of the year based on his personal opinion of course. So I gathered his top TV shows and movies for the past three years, (and we will updated each year) if god wishes.

We Reviewed the list and come up with a quick introduction for the movie, as well as a personal prediction of why the former president have chosen these TV shows and movies. Its just a speculation but it doesn’t hurt to looking into.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (2020)

This movie is about the story of a black American women singer who wants to live on her own terms, in a Sensitive Era, where there is a diversion between races in the country, for her it’s about survival, pain, and joy. Obama Probably Chose this one intentionally, or he just got emotional considering that he is from the same race as her.

Beanpole (2019)

The Story Begins During World War 2, with two movie protagonists, (two women) struggling to fight the life and death situation, and searching for hope for a better tomorrow. Probably he likes this one because it shows the never give up spirit.

Bacurau (2020)

This film is about a filmmaker which makes it weird a little bit, anyway, who travels around the world to make a movie. In Brazil, the poor man discovers a secret about the locals there, that they are hiding dangerous Secrets. Which is always a bad thing, and always turns out to be one man against the entire village. By recommending this movie, I can say that the message is to uncover the truth about something and fight to release it to the people, especially if it is gonna save lives.

Nomadland (2021)

It’s about an old woman who lost everything due to the recession. For short, it’s about the aftermath of a great recession’s aftermath. It’s convenient to say the least, especially if the year is where Corona hits, and everybody starts to panic. The movie may give some advice when you get hit by a recession.

Soul (2020)

It’s about a Middle school teacher who picked the wrong path in life, for himself. He wasn’t passionate about teaching, his true passion was Jazz. he was great at his work too but the more he lived as a teacher the more he realized that following your passion it means to have a soul. I think the message behind this movie is to do what you love in life, and never be locked in things that you hate doing, because it’s not worth living for.

Lovers Rock (2020)

It’s about an evening in West London, During the 1980s, A Performance that combined a violence Background with Romance and Music on Display. From the look at it, the film is about Music and romance. To be honest I didn’t watch this one, so I don’t know exactly what’s the purpose of it.

Collective (2019)

This one is pretty exciting to watch, it’s about journalists who are working to uncover healthcare crimes, and fraud. The story started after a big fire in Bucharest, Romania. The Message behind this one is: the true mission of a journalist is to bring and work to uncover the truth behind events and release them to the public to see.

Better Call Saul

The Story of this Tv Show is about an Attorney who is struggling and trying to solve his clients problems, But his usual clients are low incomes whom find themselves clashes against the top 1% of the society, which happened to be about crimes committed by big mafia. the protagonist of the show tries to solve those mysteries by fighting against the criminals in court by defended his innocent clients. I can think of many messages that this show has about the life, but the most outstanding one is don’t let your ambitions and morals Stray from the good path.

Its a documentary movie, about a Chinese company runs by a Chinese billionaire who opens a new factory in Ohio, The story behind the movie is real, I’m not sure when it took place exactly, but the movie is about the clash between the the company and Working-Class Americans.

Fleabag: Season 2 (2016-2019)

Its a Comedy Drama TV show about a women who has no filters in life, in other word she speaks what in her mind all the time, but the society will never let that happen of course with that kind of of attitude she can’t live a normal life she had to face multiple setbacks and obstacles, and through that she started leaning about how she must behave in society. I think this movie will resonate with a lot of people since many of us have someone like that in the family.
