During The shooting of The Big Bang Theory, Melissa Rauch, one of TBBT’s Leading Actresses, faced multiple challenges and succeeded to overcome many of them, which led her to the point where she is now.

1. Where she got the Idea behind her voice to play Bernadette?
Taking the role of Bernadette have never been an easy job for Bernadette, however, thanks to her mother’s voice pitched, Melissa successfully manage to entertain the TBBT Fans and gained a lot of support for her performance.
She told TV Insider in an Interview: “My Mother sounds very similar to Bernadette. She’s got a very high-pitched voice except with a New Jersey accent, and I grew up imitating her.”
However, her mother’s voice is not as high as she explained to The Rubin Report, saying that she did modify it a little bit to be more unique for Bernadette. “It’s not quite, quite that high, but it’s in that tone, in that range,” She explained in an interview.
2. Melissa Rauch’s Favorite Episode from The Big Bang Theory.
“The scavenger hunt episode, where all of us paired off, was one of the most fun to shoot,” She said to Today outlet.
3. People make fun of her Height during the shooting.
In the Episode where Bernadette’s co-workers find out about her pregnancy, she told Amy that people are making fun of her heights, later during an interview, it turns out that this issue was also real for the actress, since customers in that restaurant were making fun of the shooting becomes difficult for her.
“It does push you to the edge when you’re not given an opportunity to do what you want to do,” She Said.
4. She faced Family Difficulties.
Apparently, the actress was facing a miscarriage problem, which make it difficult for her to have a baby. According to Mayo Clinic, This issue can be both physically and emotionally painful.
Melissa said that she was so envious and depressed when she saw Pregnancy Announcements because she wanted to be a mom so badly and that made her live in sorrow.
“The miscarriage I experienced was one of the most profound sorrows I have ever felt in my life. It kick-started a primal depression that lingered in me,” She told the Glamour.
Later, she finds out that she finally had her first successful pregnancy, the actress was overjoyed with happiness and so grateful for overcoming this challenge. She explained: “I hope it will make me a better mother in some capacity when I can finally hold the child that has been in my heart in my arms.”
Ironically, her first pregnancy was one of Bernadette’s pregnancies, so she was pregnant for real for the second time.
5. Melissa Rauch thought that she is a one-time guest star.
When she first appeared On TBBT. And she was struggling to find an Audition at the Time. She thought that her on-screen time will be short and that she is going to leave the crew soon. But things work out for her and manage to score a permanent spot in The Big Bang Theory Show.
“I thought this was going to be a one-time guest star and I got the audition praying that I would get this job and be there for a week,” She told Parade.
